Investigative Journalist / Author
Geoff White is a British investigative journalist and author who has spent more than a decade reporting on the collision of organised crime and technology– cybercrime, fraud and money laundering. He served as technology correspondent for Channel 4 News, where he created the Data Baby project exposing the hidden trade in personal data, and his work now appears across the BBC, Channel 4 and the Sunday Times. He is the author of three acclaimed books– *Crime Dot Com*, *The Lazarus Heist* and *Rinsed*– and co-presented the chart-topping BBC World Service podcast *The Lazarus Heist*, which was nominated for a Peabody Award. Having interviewed fraudsters, money launderers and even North Korean spies the world over, Geoff has a rare gift for translating the shadowy economics of digital crime into plain, practical terms– cutting through the jargon to show ordinary people and businesses how the criminals really operate, and how to stay a step ahead.
