Founder and CEO, Patients Know Best
Dr Mohammad Al-Ubaydli is a Cambridge-trained doctor and programmer whose own survival of a rare immune disorder taught him that patient knowledge is a matter of life and death. He founded Patients Know Best, the patient-controlled health records platform now serving six million people, and holds an honorary professorship at the University of Warwick alongside recognition as an Ashoka Fellow.
On The BEYOND Podcast he talked with host and producer Aleksandra King about a childhood in war zones, rote learning against critical thinking, the seed of Patients Know Best in his own condition, the entrepreneur's syllabus of learning over money, and challenging tech giants for the future of the health record.
